KH Chemicals was founded in 1994 by Hans Ketting and Rick de Haan, who combined knowledge and experience in a variety of world markets. The rise of new producer markets in Eastern Europe and the Far East at that time, combined with our extensive knowledge of the global market, provided a firm foundation for a solid organization. Over the years the nature of our business has changed considerably. New means of communication made the industry very transparent and diminished our role as a trader. KH anticipated this trend and focused more on distribution at the beginning of this century. Financing, repackaging, in-time delivery and after sales services became our focus. To become more knowledgeable and competitive, we have increasingly concentrated on a few product groups: solvents, acrylates and plasticizers! What has not changed over the years is that we believe that our success depends on the quality of people in our company. Our employees and contractors are carefully selected people who share our values and are great to work with. “It’s all about people” is something we believed in from the beginning and this is still one of the guiding principles of KH Chemicals.
